Cefadroxil Monohydrate

Cefadroxil monohydrate is a first-generation semi-synthetic cephalosporin antibiotic. It exhibits bactericidal activity by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis. It is highly stable in gastric acid and is well-absorbed after oral administration, making it effective against a range of Gram-positive and some Gram-negative organisms.
